How to use
- Paste a list or open a file and choose the email and phone columns.
- Pick the default country for numbers without a country code.
- Review flags and download the cleaned list.
Worked example
With default country US, “(415) 555-0132” becomes +14155550132, and “ann@gmial.com” is flagged as a likely typo of gmail.com.
Supported formats and limits
| Input | Text list, CSV, XLSX |
|---|---|
| Output | CSV, XLSX, Text |
| Engine | libphonenumber-js metadata; RFC 5322-based syntax checks and typo detection for common domains |
Limitations
- Syntax checks cannot tell whether a mailbox exists; no emails are sent.
- A valid phone number matches the country's numbering plan; it does not prove the line is in service or reachable.
Questions
Does a valid result mean the email or phone works?
No. Emails are checked for syntax and likely typos of common domains such as gmial.com; nothing is sent. Phones are checked against numbering-plan metadata (libphonenumber-js), which cannot tell whether a line is active.
How are numbers without a country code handled?
They are read using the default country you choose. With United States, (415) 555-0132 becomes +14155550132. Numbers written with a + and country code keep their own country.
Can it remove duplicate contacts?
Yes. Duplicates are found by the cleaned email, or by the E.164 phone when there is no usable email, and you can flag them, remove them or keep them.
