Questions

What happens with a long caption?

With Shrink long text to fit on, the caption wraps onto several lines and its size is reduced until it fits the image width.

Which font is used?

Impact when your device has it; otherwise a bundled bold font, so the result can look slightly different between devices.

Will an animated GIF stay animated?

No. GIFs are captioned from their first frame and exported as a still JPEG or PNG.
