Questions

How long can a ringtone be?

Up to 40 seconds, the iPhone limit. 30 seconds suits most phones.

How do I put the M4R on an iPhone?

This tool only creates the file. Installing it on an iPhone is done with Apple's own apps, for example by syncing it from a computer; Android phones can use an MP3 or Ogg file directly from storage.
