Limitations
- Low contrast between colours makes codes unreadable; the contrast is checked as you choose colours.
- Decoded links are never opened automatically.
Questions
Do the QR codes expire?
No. The content is encoded directly in the code, with no redirect service in between, so it keeps working as long as the link or details inside it are valid. That also means it cannot be edited after printing.
Is it safe to scan unknown codes here?
Decoded content is classified and shown as text first, and links are never opened automatically. Check where a link goes before you open it. Images and camera frames are read in your browser, not uploaded.
Why won't my coloured code scan?
Scanners need strong contrast between the dark modules and the background. The page checks colour contrast and inverted colours as you choose them. Test the final printed or on-screen code with a few phones.
