How to use
- Choose a type.
- Fill in the fields; required and recommended ones are marked and values are checked as you type.
- Copy the script tag into your page, or paste existing JSON-LD to check it.
Worked example
A Product with name, image, offers.price 29.99 and priceCurrency USD outputs a JSON-LD block with a nested Offer and no missing required properties.
Supported formats and limits
| Input | Form fields for 13 types: Article, Product, Organization, LocalBusiness, Event, FAQPage, HowTo, BreadcrumbList, Person, WebSite, Recipe, VideoObject, JobPosting, Pasted JSON-LD or page HTML to check |
|---|---|
| Output | JSON-LD <script> tag, Missing required/recommended properties and invalid URLs, dates and ISO 8601 durations |
| Engine | Typed templates with required/recommended property checks (summarised from Google's rich-result documentation, October 2026) |
Limitations
- Valid markup does not guarantee rich results; search engines decide when to show them, and Google changes its requirements (for example FAQ and how-to results are now limited or retired).
- Only the listed types and their main properties are checked; confirm with Google's Rich Results Test.
Questions
Will this markup get me rich results?
Not by itself. Valid markup makes a page eligible, but search engines decide when to show rich results and change their requirements; FAQ and how-to results, for example, are now limited or retired. Test the page in Google's Rich Results Test.
What does the tool check?
Required and recommended properties for each type (summarised from Google's documentation as of October 2026), absolute URLs, ISO dates and durations, numbers and ISO 4217 currency codes.
