Questions
What is lost when converting VTT to SRT?
WebVTT cue settings such as position and alignment, STYLE blocks, NOTE comments, voice tags and class tags have no SRT form and are removed. Bold and italic are kept.
Do short VTT timestamps work?
Yes. Times written without hours, such as 00:01.000, are read correctly.
Is my caption file uploaded?
No. The subtitle file is read and converted in your browser.
