How to use
- Enter a domain.
- Choose record types (or All).
- Results show each record and its TTL.
Worked example
Looking up MX for a domain using a hosted mail provider lists its mail servers with their priorities.
Supported formats and limits
| Input | Domain name |
|---|---|
| Output | Record table |
| Engine | DNS-over-HTTPS JSON queries from your browser (Cloudflare, with Google Public DNS as fallback) |
Limitations
- Results reflect the resolver's cache; recent changes may take up to the TTL to appear.
Questions
Which resolver answers the query?
Cloudflare's DNS over HTTPS by default. If Cloudflare is unreachable or returns an HTTP error, the lookup falls back to Google Public DNS, or you can choose Google directly. The domain and record type are sent to that resolver from your browser.
Why don't I see a change I just made?
A public resolver may still hold a cached answer until its TTL runs out, and other resolvers can show different results meanwhile. This tool shows one resolver's view at one moment, not every server on the internet.
Can I paste a link or an email address?
Yes. Links, email addresses, ports and trailing dots are trimmed to the domain, and international names are converted to Punycode. IP addresses are not accepted because this tool does not do reverse lookups.

Privacy
Uses a public service. Your browser sends only what is listed below (for example a domain name) to the named public service. No files or other content are sent.
- Cloudflare DNS over HTTPS (1.1.1.1): The domain name and record type you look up, from your browser.
- Google Public DNS (fallback or by choice): The domain name and record type, only if Cloudflare is unreachable or you choose Google.
