How to use
- Type an expression or use the keypad.
- Switch DEG/RAD for trigonometry.
- Press Enter; click a history entry to reuse it.
Worked example
sin(30) in DEG mode is 0.5; 2^10 is 1024; log(1000) is 3.
Supported formats and limits
| Input | Expressions |
|---|---|
| Output | Results, history |
| Engine | mathjs expression parser (no eval) with BigNumber option |
Limitations
- Results are shown to 12 significant digits by default; enable high precision for more.
Questions
Does it use degrees or radians?
Whichever you select. The DEG/RAD setting applies to sin, cos, tan and their inverses, so sin(30) is 0.5 in DEG mode but about -0.988 in RAD mode.
How precise are the results?
Results are shown to 12 significant digits by default, with exponent notation for very large or small values. Turn on high precision for more digits using arbitrary-precision decimals.
Is my expression evaluated safely?
Yes. Expressions are parsed by the mathjs parser, not run as JavaScript, and unsupported or unsafe input is rejected with a message.
